How to change your personal details

Changing your address or mobile number

You can update your address and mobile number directly in the app. Here's how:

  1. Tap the person icon in the top right of your home screen

  2. Go to Personal Details

  3. Tap on your address and/or mobile number to make changes

Important:

  • Make sure you're using the latest version of the Yonder app

  • You’ll need biometrics set up on your phone (face ID, fingerprint, or passcode)

We currently do not support non-UK mobile numbers.


Can’t update your address in the app?

First, we'll need to re-verify your ID. Email us at [email protected] or message us on chat and we'll send you a link to re-verify. You'll need to upload one of your passport, UK driving licence, or residence permit - so make sure to have it handy!

Also, we will need proof of your new address.
​Email an original, unredacted PDF of one of the following to [email protected]:

  • A bank statement showing a minimum of two transactions within the last 3 months with your full name and address visible

  • Utility bill within the last 3 months with your full name and address visible

  • Council tax with your full name and address visible

  • UK Driving licence showing your full name and new address

  • Letter from your GP with your new address

Please note that we don't accept screenshots or redacted documents, and we'll need to see a PDF copy that can be emailed to [email protected].

Can’t update your mobile number?

Start a chat in the app and send us:

  • Your old number

  • Your new number

We’ll handle the update for you.


Changing your name

We'll need to re-verify your ID. Email us at [email protected] or message us on chat and we'll send you a link to re-verify. You'll need to upload evidence of your name such as:

  • UK Driving licence

  • Valid passport

  • Marriage certificate

  • Witnessed deed poll or statutory declaration

  • Divorce decree absolute

To update your email, start a chat in the app with the email address you'd like this changed to and our team will guide you through the next steps.
