What do I do if in can’t connect

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you have installed your eSIM but can't get online, please try these steps:

  1. Check Data Roaming: This is the most common fix. Ensure "Data Roaming" is ON specifically for the Yonder eSIM profile in your phone settings.

  2. Check your APN settings: Ensure the Access Point Name (APN) is set to truphone.com (found under Cellular Data Network on iOS or Access Point Names on Android).

  3. Toggle Airplane Mode: Switch Airplane Mode ON for 15 seconds, then OFF. This forces your phone to rescan for local partner networks.

  4. Wait 5 minutes: If you just arrived, it can take a few minutes for the "handshake" between your phone and the new local network to complete.

  5. Restart your device: A quick reboot can often resolve registration issues on a new network.

  6. Check your data balance: Ensure you still have data remaining by checking the Membership section in the Yonder app.

You don't need to delete your eSIM, Yonder eSIMs are Global eSIMs so uou only need to install your Yonder eSIM once. Any additional data plans you purchase will be added to the same eSIM.
