When you set up a rent or mortgage payment, we check the name you've given against the name on the account. Landlords, letting agents and lenders very often hold the account under a slightly different name, a company name or a trading name, so the check doesn't match exactly.
You'll see this check on both rent and mortgage payments.
Do check the details carefully against your tenancy agreement or mortgage statement before you continue. If they're right, you can carry on. If anything looks off, or someone has asked you to change the details unexpectedly, stop and contact us.
