Why did a TFL payment just appear days after I travelled?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Sometimes TFL doesn’t charge your card straight away. Instead, your journey is processed offline, and the payment only shows up a few days later once they’ve finished syncing things on their end

This can happen if:

  • You travelled through a station with poor signal

  • There was a delay in TFL processing your journey

Once the charge comes through, we’ll show it on your Yonder account with the original travel date in the transaction details so you can still match it up. If anything seems off, just give us a shout and we’ll happily look into it.
