What does part-charge mean?

Part-charge means that You must pay in full either the accommodation, the transport or Rental vehicle (or any deposits related to them) on the covered Card.

Updated this week

To activate your Yonder travel insurance, you need to pay for at least one core part of your trip with your Yonder card before your trip starts.

This means paying the full bill for:

  • Main transport

  • Accommodation

  • Rental car

  • Any required deposits for the above

Quick rule of thumb

  • If it’s a core booking that forms the main part of your trip (accommodation, main transport, or rental car) it will likely count

  • If it’s an add-on, upgrade, or local connection, it doesn’t

Remember that cancellation cover only applies to unused travel, accommodation and activities paid for with your Yonder card.

What are some examples?
